What is the Best Video Game Console?

1,051 voted in this poll. The question does not necessarily mean that the voter owns a game console. At best, the voter has played on one. It is surprising to see the Sony Playstation 3 placing first (38%) and the Nintendo Wii (23%) at third place. I guess many are beginning to realize PS3’s awesomeness after its hundred-buck price drop, or perhaps the voters are confusing it with its predecessors (PS1, PS2)? However, PS3 sales figures prove that it is on a roll but still the laggard, while the Xbox 360 is making a killing as usual. The Xbox has sold about 13 million units thus far, with the Wii seeing the same figures.

Numbers aside, I still think the Wii is the kick-ass gaming console of the year. Yeah, you can say I’m always rooting for the underdog.

  1. I WILL own all these consoles someday..guess I’ll have to stick to Portal til I get a Wii and a PS3..
